General information

The Department of Biomedical Sciences, in collaboration with the Department of Midwifery, of the School of Health and Care Sciences of the University of West Attica, organizes and operates, since the academic year 2021-2022, an Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program entitled:

“Applications of Biomedical Technology in Infertility – Male and Female Factor”

The founding members of the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program from

a) the Department of Biomedical Sciences are:

(1) Professor Efstathia Papageorgiou, Vice-Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs (2019-2023), (2) Professor Dimitrios Chaniotis, Head of the Department of Biomedical Sciences, (3) Professor Anastasios Kriebardis and (4) Associate Professor Petros Karkalousos and

b) the Department of Midwifery are:

(1) Professor Aikaterini Lykeridou, Head of the Department of Midwifery, (2) Associate Professor Kleanthi Gourounti and (3) Assistant Professor Antigoni Sarantaki.

 

The Senate of the University of Western Attica in its meeting 14/22-09-2020, topic 15th, unanimously gave approval for the Foundation of the Postgraduate Program, taking into account the 5/21-9-2020 (topic 2nd) consent of the Postgraduate Studies Committee of the University of West Attica.

The inception of the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program entitled “Applications of Biomedical Technology in Infertility – Male and Female Factor” of the Departments of Biomedical Sciences and Midwifery of the School of Health and Care Sciences of the University of West Attica was published in the Official Gazette of the Greek Government 5542/t΄Β/17 -12-2020.

The Study Regulations of the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program entitled “Applications of Biomedical Technology in Infertility – Male and Female Factor” of the Departments of Biomedical Sciences and Midwifery of the School of Health Sciences and Welfare of the University of Western Attica was published in the official Gazette of the Greek Government 952/τ΄Β/11-03 -2021.
