As the Director of the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Studies Program entitled “Applications of Biomedical Technology in Infertility – Male and Female Factor” of the University of West Attica (UniWA), I have the honour to welcome you to the Program and its website.
The Postgraduate Studies Program is the result of the collaboration of the Department of Biomedical Sciences and the Department of Midwifery of the School of Health and Care Sciences of the University of West Attica.
The Postgraduate Studies Program came to cover the leapfrog development of Biomedical Technology applied to Infertility, where the continuous and in-depth Lifelong Learning and Training, based on the modern and newest knowledge of the Biotechnological Revolution, became mandatory in the Health Sector.
The Postgraduate Studies Program is addressed not only to graduates of the two Departments (Biomedical Sciences and Midwifery) but also to most Health professionals – of Public and Private Sector – who staff or wish to staff Assisted Reproduction Centers and/or be involved in research in the field of Human Reproduction.
